Sydney

From Behind a Lens
(by a recently self confessed shutterholic)
All I need to do now is figure out how to copyright my pictures...

View from the Shangri-La

A peek at the Bridge from the Rocks

Sunset on the ferry

On the upper deck of the Train

Couldn't believe there was a PC Tower in the middle of nowhere

ME!

How blue is the sea?

Again at the beach...

A random leaf (what can I say, it's the end of Autumn...)

A tribute to the tree next to our the bus stop

Down Argyle Lane

Going through the Harbour Bridge

Three Wise Monkeys (can't say how sober they might be though...)

The Strand (couldn't afford anything but just had to get a picture!)

izchan: I deliberately picked that picture because then it meant that you can't see me properly! But thank you for the compliment.

sicko: I've got a really basic 4.0 mega pixel Pentax and have been thinking about investing in an SLR but that's like over $1k which I'm not prepared to spend at the moment. & you look 'whole' to me ;p

uncle: Sydney has old and new juxtaposed against one another. Very similar to KL at some points - the very old and the very new co-existing together. But you wouldn't believe how many Asians we saw!

syrope: Never intended to ever post a picture but hubby took this one and I really like it! & I'm looking at gathering enough of my pictures that I like to use as decoration in our house. But to print on canvas is so expensive! =(

izso: I still have long hair. I'm contemplating if I should go get streaks...or just wait until I get back to home and see my favourite new hairstylist ;p

naz: Not long like super duper long...nor was it flowing. But long at least! & don't tell everyone you have photos of me!!! I'm trying to keep a low profile!

very cool photos... me like!

copyright photos? hmm.. u can try to watermark the photos like all the stock photos sites... just use photoshop... ;)

Don't invest in a SLR la. You'll end up buying all sorts of lenses just to take all sorts of pictures. But a Prosumer class camera instead, like the Panasonic FZ8 or the FZ30 (I have the FZ20). They are quite efficient and have plenty of punch. But you'll need to get an external flash la. And probably a tripod. Tripod not expensive, flash yes.

izso said...

Oh btw.. how much are you paying me and Naz not to post your pics up for all to see? :D

Naz - doesn't matter what size I was / am.. I'm still fat!

ninjabee: Spoken like a true ninja, couz! & thanks! I wonder if I could become a good shutterholic...

binx: Thanks! & my Photoshop is the ciplak one! So I hafta turn my clock back to 2000 to use it! How cheapskate is that? ;p

izso: But SLR's look professional ;) heheheh...it's all about the look see? I'll figure something out soon. & friends don't do blackmail!

shopper mom: Pugly said that you'd send a friendster request to add me. I still haven't received it yet! & thanks...hoping to get better at figuring out how to take good shots.

pugly said...

Gasp! You exposed yourself!

izso said...

XD

Me thinks Pugly referring to that little bit of skin above the waistline.

Hahaha!

Moo : Ok, whatever you do, don't buy an Olympus. Prosumer or SLR, they just don't cut the chase. I recommend the Fuji or Canon or Nikon DSLRs then. Them be good shit mon.
